In addition to private law practice, Alex is heavily involved with the community and regularly volunteers as a Pro-Bono attorney with Philadelphia VIP, representing disadvantaged Philadelphians in desperate need of representation. Alex has also volunteered as an attorney with Federal Eastern District Court Prisoner’s Rights Program, the Wills for Heroes Program in Montgomery County, the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia and Permanency Partners. Alex is also a Board Member of YVC Philly, a Philadelphia Non-Profit dedicated to creating volunteer opportunities to address community needs in Philadelphia and inspire local youth for a lifetime commitment to service.Alex was named a "Rising Star" by Super Lawyers Magazine in 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021. In 2017 he was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation by the US District Court for the Eastern Dist. of PA for his representation of a victim of police brutality. In 2019, he was named "Volunteer of the Month" by Philly VIP.Alex earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Muhlenberg College in 2007 and graduated from Widener University School of Law in 2010.
