Mr. Stratton provided excellent help with my divorce. He offered good advice and the whole process was virtually painless. Everything ran smoothly and my divorce was final in record time.
I was in an hydroplaning accident that totaled my vehicle. Was going below the speed limit due to the weather and hydroplaned into oncoming traffic. Montgomery county charged me with reckless driving. Alan worked the judge down to dismiss the charge with 6 months probation. He's the real deal and will help you out. Thanks AJS Law.
My college-student son was walking back to his apartment from a party on the RU campus and was stopped by a Radford police officer, who observed he might be drunk. He was also underage (a few months before his 21st birthday). He was charged with two misdemeanors. My husband and I don’t live locally, but an acquaintance referred us to AJS Law. I accompanied my son to his appointment with Mr. Stratton, less than 48 hours from the scheduled court date/time. Mr. Stratton was kind, compassionate and clear with my son about what the law said, what some possible outcomes could be and how he could help. My son decided to work with Mr. Stratton, who promised to contact the commonwealth attorney and try to get some kind of a deal in place before going before the judge in less than 2 days. Although Mr. Stratton assured my son he could easily get a continuance if he wasn’t able to get hold of the commonwealth attorney in time and get things worked out, that didn’t end up being necessary. Mr. Stratton worked hard for us and got everything done in less than a day, so my son was able to keep his original court date (which is important, because he was having to work around his class schedule). Mr. Stratton was able to secure the best possible outcome we could have hoped for in the situation. He was able to get one of the misdemeanors dropped entirely. The other was deferred for 12 months, and pending my son’s completion of the VASAP program and a clean record, it would be dismissed. I couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome and Mr. Stratton’s willingness to keep us informed along the way.
Mr. Stratton was not only supremely knowledgeable with respect to the law, he also was personally approachable and helpful in explaining the various nuances of the case. His ongoing professional relationships with Commonwealth's attorneys assisted in bringing the case to a speedy and just resolution. When a not previously discussed situation arose, Mr. Stratton quickly strategized a new plan and successfully presented this to the Commonwealth which quickly accepted it. I was completely satisfied and very grateful for his representation and would recommend Mr. Stratton without reservation.
Alan handled a Divorce and a Criminal matter for me. From the first call Alan and his support team were very professional, supportive and helpful throughout the entire year long process. I recommend anyone hiring a lawyer to be very forthcoming with all of the information that pertains to your case, the key is not to have any surprises for your Lawyer to defend on the day of court. I would recommend Alan for anybody that needs a good defense, or divorce lawyer.
We've had Allen Stratton for many cases child support and reissuing gun rights he has the best attorney we've ever dealt with he has made great progress and a friendly person but stright to the point thank you again for careing for the poeple and for what is right
Mr. Stratton did an exceptional job in defending me against the Commonwealth of Virginia. Definitely 5stars plus
I haved hired Mr. Stratton 3 times in the last 10 years. Once to represent myself, once for my 17 year old daughter, and once for my now 18 years old son. What strikes me first and foremost with Mr. Stratton is his thoroughness. He doesn't miss a detail and represented us zealously. We highly recommend Mr. Stratton!
Mr. Stratton and his associate, Jennifer, were hired by my husband and I to handle the petition and finalization of adoption of my son. AJS Law firm was great to work with. They have a very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful staff, are reasonably priced, were good to stay in contact with us on a regular basis and keep us up to date on the entire process and any changes that were taking place. I would highly recommend them for anyone looking for a lawyer to represent them in cases of adoption.
I found out they have two office, one in Radford, and one in Wytheville, Va. There is more than one attorney working at the AJS Law. They handle many different cases, talk you through it, and get best results with reasonable prices. Highly recommend.
