Alan Dobson did a great job for my ESL student. She arrived in the US in May, 2013, at age 23 to join her mother, based on a request as a child of an asylee that originated in 2004, when she was 15. It took so long to get to the US because her government would not let her leave the country. When she applied for permanent residence status (the green card), the USCIS said that because of her age, she would have to granted asylum on her own. That is when Alan Dobson was hired. He knew exactly what needed to be done, that is, to request asylum, Nunc Pro Tunc. Mr Dobson filed for asylum for my student, represented her at the hearing and helped her refile the request for the green card, all for one very reasonable fixed fee. She was granted asylum and received her green card. Unfortunately for my student, this process took several years, first because of a mistake at the USCIS office in Texas and then the huge backlog of cases in immigration court. Through all this time, Mr. Dobson maintained contact with my student, helped her renew her work permit several times (at no additional charge) and was always professional, courteous and upbeat when she was most discouraged. She could not have had a better attorney or a better person handling her case.
He is the reason why I am here in U.S. He went above and beyond, dedicated his evening and weekend to work with my schedule and helped with my case and everything else I needed. I have a green card now and will be a citizen in the next 6 month. I owe him my success and the American dream I am living now. Kudos to Mr. Dobson!
We have an employee who has needed some help with immigration/visa related issues and we have worked with Alan to make sure that everything is taken care of professionally and on time. He has been very easy to work with and I would recommend him to others.
I am satisfied with the service I got from Alan. I feel at ease talking to him due to his friendly character. He always amazed me with his capability to remember all the details we talked about a couple of days earlier. I scheduled many hours to consult him and I always can drop at his office anytime. If you are looking for an attorney who gives you all the attention you need and prepare your application in a professional way I recommend you to contact him.
