I was in a very tough spot with my son's mother. She was on a downward spiral that was clearly effecting my son and Alan didn't hesitate to reassure me that I would get my son away from that atmosphere. He came through with everything he said and I had gotten custody of my my son. He understands how stressful these situations can be, and is a straight up guy. He kept me posted on all events due to my case and really made it alot less stressful and is a very trusted man. I have and will continue to recommend him to anybody going through tough times with marital/family issues. I'm very pleased with my choice to have him represent me, and won't hesitate to contact him if any other issues arise in family court.
Was clear and precise. Honestly without his help I don't think I would be where I'm at now today. Thanks Dan I have everything I've wanted and more.
Mr. Cooper was excellent towards my case he told me up front how things were gonna go when I stated my situation.I didn't not have a hard time with anything everything flowed just as he stated. Most importantly when he can't be reached he returns calls asap, and questions I had he answered them very good and help me in anyway.I would defiantly recomand Mr. Cooper to anyone.
Alan scheduled an initial interview right away with me and gathered the necessary information to start the divorce process, which he did so promptly. He was articulate and to the point in our conversations and he accepted all of my phone calls or returned them that day. His support team was very knowledgeable as well, and helpful. He was key to driving the timing, were as my previous experience was I had to stay on top of things and drive it.
Alan Cooper handled my incident with the utmost professionalism. He was extremely attentive to my needs and was responsive to my questions and concerns. I was very pleased with the outcome of the case and would highly recommend his services.
A great lawyer for your investement! I was referred to Alan Cooper from a friend who also hired him and he artfully navigated through my messy divorce and provided the successful results I desired. Throughout the entire process Alan was available and attentive to my numerous calls, texts, and emails. (I had many---patience of a saint!) He was professional, competent, timely and efficient and most importantly.... skilled at arguing the case in my favor! Highly recommended!
Alan was extremely knowledgable regarding my case. He helped me during a very stressful time. He returned my phone calls, texts and emails in timely and efficient manner. And put me at ease when when situations became unbearably tense.
Mr. Cooper helped me navigate thru a very difficult time in my life. He treated me very fairly and was detailed in our approach. I appreciated the way he was upfront and "said it like it was" although sometimes I did'nt want to hear it, he needed to say it and i needed to listen to his advice. He pulls no punches and will fight for what is best for his clients. Good luck and feel comfortable if you are considering hiring him.
Since I was out of state my case had to be handled mostly over the phone which made it harder. Alan was able to keep me informed and was always available during the day or evening. He was able to handle all of the court appearances on my behalf.
Alan cooper would come to court unprepared and not even have or review my file, another time he yelled at me in front of my ex-husband and referee because I was trying to remind him of what to say because he couldn't remember and he said, "Don't you ever f------ interrupt me again" Mr. Cooper got sick of dealing with the drama of my divorce, which was difficult, he began snapping at me, hanging up on me-the final straw came when I had to go to arbitration and he told me he didn't need to be there and all I needed to do is bring a list of our belongings and split them, I went to arbitration alone and my ex showed up with his attorney and a 30 page report of items we never owned. In short, I got full custody of my kids (because of the PPO I filed, not because of Cooper) and lost everything in a 5,000 sft house, lost my house, and had to pay my ex $5,000 and my ex's legal fees - which Cooper had slid into the divorce finalization papers last minute- I say last minute because we were supposed to have a trial at 9am and Cooper showed up 5 min before lunch, made a deal and pressured me to sign it. You might think this is not a big deal but my ex had sold 3 cars in the divorce, turned off my phone and I had lost my business- causing me to go on welfare and without heat. Mr. Cooper simply told me at the end- its no big deal, you'll get back on your feet. He made me feel neglected, abused and frustrated-80% of the time. Cooper is only interested in high money easy divorces where he can take all the money-and run over the backs of the broken on his way out. In contrast- I later went back and hired another attorney and they were able to stop my ex from taking me to court and order a psych exam which he had failed- the judges knew this attorney and his father and they were very well respected- they treated me like I was a person that mattered- going to court 1 time with the new attorney- was more effective than 100 times with Cooper
