Adam represented Me in a traffic violation. He was able to get me probation for 6 months. If I don’t receive any other ticket for those 6 months the violation will be dismissed. Best part of my experience is I didn’t have to make an appearance in court. Which is a big plus with my work schedule. Thanks Adam

Adam was very thorough to make sure I understood the options regarding my case. He talked to me several times on the phone, called me immediately each time there was new information, and followed up a few times to make sure I was happy with the result. I would definitely recommend him to any of my friends who needed an attorney.

I received an out of state speeding ticket in VA as a result of some unfortunate circumstances. I was extremely concerned that this would have difficult ramifications in my home state of NC, and not being a resident of VA i did not know who to turn to for help. Fisher Law put me together with Mr. Lafon, and after our initial consult, i knew my case was in good hands. Mr. Lafon was upfront and honest about my case and likely outcomes, and he managed to put me at ease knowing that he genuinely cared about my case and would do everything possible to negotiate a favorable outcome. He maintained contact with me throughout the process with updates, and always answered my calls and was always very professional, helpful and reassuring. Mr. Lafon successfully negotiated a very favorable outcome that surpassed my own expectations. Without hesitation, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Mr. Lafon to anyone looking for legal support in VA. He cares about his clients and will strive for the best possible realistic outcome for each and every client.

My driving record isn't that good and I was looking to keep points off my license, and hopefully avoid an increase in insurance. Mr. LaFon took the time to talk to me and find out what I have done in the past and what I was willing to do for this case, and got me a great result where I don't have to attend a driver's class. I don't care about paying a fine as long as I didn't have to waste a day in some stupid class. I would recommend Mr. LaFon to any of my family or friends that were looking for an attorney with traffic case experience.

I had an accident through no fault of my own where I was run into at high speed, and Adam gave me advice on what charges I could or could not expect. As he predicted there were obviously no fault on my end. He also gave me much needed advice on how to deal with insurance company and how to handle the person who rear ended me in case legal action had to be taken. Ultimately, their insurance paid out for my car and I had no ticket. Even though I didn’t need a lawyer in court, Adam’s advice was courteous and professional which helped relieve a lot of stress in this ordeal. Whether you need a lawyer or just a consult for a complex situation, I would recommend him for legal advise.

Mr. Lafon is an excellent lawyer for use to help with court appearances. Whether it be a traffic case or a civil dispute, Adam Lafon is a professional lawyer who can help you with you needs or concerns. In my case, I was speeding on the Interstate, Adam helped me expedite my case to be heard at the beginning of court. We went through the trial at a quick speed, and the results were for me to take a driver improvement class which resulted in a lower fine and the removal of reckless driving off my record. I personally recommend Mr. Lafon as the lawyer to go to, with his knowledge of the law, there is no reason why you should choose someone else besides him.

In July of 2017, I had engine trouble driving on I-64 in VA and was forced to accelerate my car in order to make it up hills and get to the next rest area. I was pulled over by a cop, but instead of providing much needed assistance in an already stressful situation, the officer instead screamed at me, forced me out of my car, and gave me a ridiculous and undeserved "reckless driving" charge. After discovering that this charge can carry very heavy fines or even jail time, I decided to go ahead and hire Mr. Lafon from the Fisher Law Firm, and I was glad that I did so. He represented me in the VA court without my having to appear, which was crucial since I live in Illinois. Using documents showing my car's repair upon returning home, and some driving records, he was successful in having my charge reduced to a speeding ticket, on the condition that I take an online driving safety course. I do wish the instructions on how to complete the online course were a little more clear, and this took some clarification. But overall I was very happy with the service I received, and grateful that any dramatic consequences were avoided. If anyone finds themselves in a similar situation and can at all afford to hire representation, especially for a traffic violation, I would certainly recommend Mr. Lafon and the others at Fisher Law. It was worth the money to know that someone competent and responsible was handling things for me back in VA, and in the end, my outcome was brought back into the realm of sanity.

I paid $995 to hire Mr. LaFon to represent me in a reckless driving (speeding) court case in. Initial traffic court judge reduced my ticket fine from $500 to $300 but would not reduce the speeding ticket. Under advisement of Mr. LaFon, I took an extended defensive driving course and completed community service prior to an appeals court case. The appeals judge would not reduce the speeding ticket or the fine any further. I understand that I broke the law and Mr. Lafon was there to help advise me in the best manner possible. My poor review/rating of Mr. LaFon is not because I spent over $1k on the entire process to only receive a $200 reduction in fine, but rather the lack of consistent follow up from him throughout the entire process. Mr. LaFon would communicate via email of times when I should expect a call from him to review something about the case, and then would not reach out to me during that time. One day prior to the initial court case, Mr. LaFon called me and started asking me the same questions we had went over when I initially spoke with him and asked him to take my case. It was as if we were starting over and he knew nothing of my case 24 hours prior to the court date! When it came time for the appeals court case, he was supposed to call me the day before and go over everything with me, instead he called me (while I was at work and could not speak) 45 minutes prior to my hearing. I gave up on calling him at the end of it all and it took him almost week to call and let me know the results of my court case. I feel as if I were representing someone in court and they just received a misdemeanor on their record, I would want to reach out within 1-2 days just to talk with him. Overall, I felt my case was just a low priority to the Fisher Law firm and I would not recommend using them.
