This lawyer is the best. She helped me a father get 50/50 custody of his lawyer even when even one said it wasn't possible. She has the best skills and defense lawyer. She is well prepared and relentless in her approach. Always kept me calm and educated me and all the things that needed and would happened. I will always have her number and recommend her to many others. Thank the lord for her.
Ms Miller was hired for my child custody case. She walked me through the whole process, gave excellent legal advice when I needed it, has an amazing team who stayed in contact and alerted me to anything new going on with the case. We won our case and she made feel at ease with this whole nightmare process. I would 100% hire her as she is very professional but very compassionate for her clients.
Outstanding work!!! A friend of ours suggested Mrs. Miller for our son to use in his custody case for his girls. I would say great decision because she won the emergency hearing for him and is working above and beyond on next case coming up!!!
Ms. Miller has been my attorney on several family law matters. She is by far the best family law attorney in this area. Ms. Miller works extremely hard on your case, she is very knowledgeable and strategic and most importantly she cares about her clients' genuine best interests. Ms. Miller is a fierce protector of her clients' rights and fights hard for the best outcome. I highly recommend her!
Abigail Miller was my attorney during a lengthy, highly contentious child custody matter. Honestly, it was the worst year of my life. Things were unable to be settled out of court and so a trial was necessary. Her efforts helped me to achieve my goals, and ultimately do what was best for my kids. Here's the thing: The majority of family law attorneys are NOT trial attorneys. They just aren't. They're horrible. As such, many attorneys will push you to settle out of court in order to avoid going to trial. By the time you realize this, you have wasted time and money. Incidentally, that is what happened to my ex (too bad). The inside of a courtroom is where Ms. Miller shines. She is a legit trial attorney. Sure, she can prepare documents for you and file things; she's great at that as well if that's all you need. But if your situation potentially requires a trial, then you will want her to handle things. Ms. Miller's strong points are her professionalism, knowledge of the law and court system, planning and organization, and her ability to present a clear, convincing argument. She is a pitbull, and opposing counsel is wary of her. Seriously, she is squared away. Also, Ms. Miller is smart, hardworking, experienced, and quick on her feet. She tends to be conservative in her decision making, but will present you with different options for you to decide. She is honest and has scruples (rare for her profession). The other person who deserves credit is her paralegal, Diane. She is incredible. Very smart, organized, professional and responsive. I was very lucky to have Ms. Miller handling my case and highly recommend her.
Abigail represented me and won my appeal's case in a multi state custody/child support case. She left no stone unturned and was very honest, ethical, organized, competent, and awesome litagator. She knew how to strategized and was always prepared in court to defend or speak to any argument. Shes also compassionate, listens attentively, and respectful to all parties. At a difficult and uncertain time, shes who you want representing you in family court
I’ve known Abigail Miller for about nine years and have made use of her services on several different occasions. Whether it was to set custody/child support, or to revisit custody/child’s support. She was always an email or phone call away and I was able to walk into a court room with full confidence while having her as my representation. After many years and different cases she is still able to recall details about previous court appearances/motions. I would not entrust another attorney to perform at her capacity.
I retained Ms. Miller for a custody case. Ms. Miller helped my family navigate the court system, legal system and the Department of Social Services (Child Protective Services). Because of Ms. Millers' guidance and support this child is now in a safe home. I would retain Ms. Miller again should I need legal counsel.
Abby represented me during a child support modification case that was anything but standard. She worked tirelessly on my case; even putting in some hours over the weekend (Thanksgiving weekend!) to ensure things were done in a timely manner. Whenever I sent an email with concerns or questions she got back to me with her response(s) unbelievably fast. That is just her work ethic and it was great to have someone that was there for me during a trying time in my life. When she was in court with me; she was something else to watch. Abby knows the court's processes and procedures and the courts know and respect her. It was a real treat to see her work the courtoom and see first hand that there was a reciprocal level of respect; Abby's respect of the Judge and court and the Judge's respect for Abby. Clearly Abby has worked in the Prince William court system for long enough that when they see her the inherently know they are working with a pro and treat her in kind. I found Abby through a friend and I feel fortunate that Abby was who I was referred to. Top notch! -Eric
Abigail Miller helped me with my divorce. She guided me throughout the process and never failed to provide the pros and cons of certain decisions. She always made herself available, sometimes even late into the evening.
